The 30/70 Compost Mix consists of 30% screened sandy loam topsoil (free of rocks larger than 3/8 inch) and 70% compost, made from a blend of composted wood fines and composted horse manure. No herbicides or pesticides are used in this product.
Because it is lightweight and fibrous, this mix can hold up to 20 times its own weight in water, making it highly effective for moisture retention and soil conditioning. The high organic content improves nutrient availability, enhances soil structure, and supports strong root development.
